"We did it" Big meeting invite
9/26/08

Well...We did it!

We got the permit!  Apache, Oklahoma is now the world center for Judaic study...or not.

Can you guys believe it, Yuval (the archeologist) made arrangements for Chris and I to select the locations as we saw fit; with his close supervision of course.  We will not tell you a lot in this letter except that you need to be at the next meeting. It will be on Saturday, 4 October, either in Lawton at the Public Library or in Burkburnett, Texas at the community center. Carl is checking on the community center for me, and Laurie has already arranged for the Lawton Public Library at 4:00pm to 5:45pm "unless" Carl gets the building in Burk. When we get final confirmation on the BurkCommunity Centerwe will let everyone know.

We will be showing pictures of a preliminary examination of one of the locations that we did with the archeologist and we will be doing some last minute planning. We have a date that the excavation will begin and some important changes for those that had wanted to go on the dig so please be there if you can.  An email will be sent out after the meeting as well.

How in the world this has been accomplished baffles everyone. But not one person doubts that God has been involved, he had to be. How else could a retired Asst. Fire Marshal, a Tractor Salesman and a less than qualified team of volunteers pull this off...BUT WE DID.

Understand this; we still have funding issues so we are not over the hump completely. Don't stop praying and if you have a friend that is a multimillionaire with cash he or she just can't wait to spend, tell them to call me.

Remember...The meeting will be either in Burkburnett, Texas or in Lawton, Oklahoma, on Saturday 4 October in the afternoon.
