The Copper Scroll Project Support Letter
HELP US FINISH THE COPPER SCROLL PROJECT EXCAVATION BY WRITING A LETTER AND EMAIL!
The goal of the Copper Scroll Project has been and will be to restore the treasures of the Copper Scroll to the people of Israel.
A modest archeological excavation was conducted in Israel at the Qumran National Park based on Jim Barfield’s Copper Scroll research during April of 2009. The excavation conducted by the Israel
Antiquities Authority (IAA) is greatly appreciated by the Copper Scroll Project team but, with all due respect, the excavation was far less than adequate to prove (or disprove) the research provided
by Mr. Barfield.
Now we are asking the many people in Israel and across the globe that see the possibilities of Mr. Barfield’s research to contact the IAA by way of a letter showing support for adequate testing at the
site. The form letter provided below respectfully requests that a thorough test of five locations, as determined by the research, be conducted under the supervision of the IAA. The test will be
conducted in such a way that no damage will be done to the highly important antiquities site of Qumran and will satisfy the need to appropriately survey the location for the valuable treasure that
potentially lies just below the surface.
The Copper Scroll has been evaluated by the academic world and determined to be, or “to have been,” a valid document, yet none of the items listed in its twelve columns have ever been found.
The research provided by Jim Barfield proves to be the most promising of all theories presented since the scroll was discovered in 1952. Proof of the research’s compelling possibilities is the
unprecedented excavation conducted based on Mr. Barfield’s findings. The simple follow-up tests requested could produce a discovery of valuable treasures that would vastly increase knowledge
about the Qumran site and the era in which the Copper Scroll was written. The potential academic discovery alone warrants the survey requested.
We are asking our supporters to simply copy the form letter below exactly as it is presented without any modifications. In order to maintain a respectful stance with the IAA staff we must
coordinate our efforts to show an honest attitude of admiration for what they have already done and appropriately press forward to complete the needed site evaluation. The IAA staff will be
informed that any letters they received that do not match the form letter provided below, are purely the opinion of the writer and does not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Copper Scroll Project.
Please take a few minutes, copy the letter exactly, complete the red letter items, sign it and mail it to the IAA at the physical and email address provided here:

The IAA has shown considerable interest in Mr. Barfield’s research and conducted a modest excavation at an important antiquities site, for that small effort we must be very thankful. However, we must not give up.

To Whom It May Concern:
With all respect; and after thoroughly reviewing the videos of a portion of the research provided by Jim Barfield at his Copper Scroll Project website; I am asking that you re-consider
ending the excavation started in April of this year.
Your considerate effort to excavate at the Qumran National Park based on Mr. Barfield’s research is greatly appreciated and must be applauded. Mr. Barfield has stated time and again that
without your support his efforts would have been totally in vain. Yet, after seeing the videos, it is impossible to not feel that a more complete evaluation must be done at Qumran based on
Mr. Barfield’s work. His video presentation is compelling.
It is therefore my sincere request to you and your staff that a follow-up evaluation be conducted based on the simple and nondestructive testing procedure Mr. Barfield is suggesting and hoping
to present to you.
Thank you very much for the efforts you have made and thank you in advance for any future efforts you may deem appropriate.
Respectfully Yours,
