Copper Scroll Update June 30th 2009
Shalom Everyone!
I know that it is not pleasant to wait a whole month for an update but to
make the information complete and significant there is no other way.
Information and correspondence from Israel has stopped. Why, I can't tell
you, but my email has not been answered since we left Israel in May.
None-the-less, we are moving forward.
This update was to have been posted today, the 30th of June, but I had a
meeting with some government officials from about 2:00pm till about 4:00pm
this afternoon and I wanted to be able to tell all of you about the
results. The meeting was to disclose to them the information of how to
understand the Copper Scroll and where the first and last five locations
on the scroll are located. Guess what? They liked it! And.they are
willing to write letters to the top people in Israel and significant
persons here in the US to help complete the excavation we started in April
of this year.
They viewed the DVD that Shawn and Casey (our project video
and graphics techs) put together to disclose the locations of the Copper Scroll. They
did a great job with neat graphics and strong effects that bring home the
point that the Copper Scroll is no longer a mystery, but a document whose
claims are waiting to be confirmed. In-fact, the DVD was used today to
present to the state level politicians so that they will be able to
confirm what they know about the research with informed confidence. Based
on their reactions and post disclosure comments, questions and statements
they are going to go above and beyond what was originally requested.
When I get to Israel this time, it will be a mission to
rally support from the highest levels of the government and muster support from
others in the land. Hopefully, we will be carrying with us papers and letters that will
get the attention of those who can best help us to help our brothers and
sisters in Israel regain their treasures and maybe, just maybe, unify
Israel in a way that it hasn't been in a very long time.
Also, the national television company that is doing the interview about my
research on the Copper Scroll is sending me the script for me to review
today. I am sitting in my second favorite place in the USA to compose
updates (that's right Shelley) Starbucks! By the time Laurie and I get
home the script should be waiting for me to scan and offer my humble
suggestions. Wow, Jimmy D. the retired fireman on national
TV with men and women with PhDs, what an honor. Guys, just remember that the honor
comes from above not from men (but dang.ain't it neat). Barring any
interruptions, the program should be aired in September. It would be of
great importance for all of you to watch the show. We will be posting the
exact date and time as soon as it becomes available.
We have now entered into the political phase of the Copper Scroll Project.
Not at all my cup of tea because I loath politics, but we have no choice.
We need to make it possible for those in the Israel that got the permits
and allowed the dig, to feel free to go to the depths indicated on the
scroll without worry of undue scrutiny from their superiors. In-fact, we
want their superiors to encourage them to do what is necessary to complete
a comprehensive test of the sights that are so blatantly obvious. With
support coming from the upper echelons of the Israeli government, the men
that arranged the excavation will be able to work with complete freedom.
For the time being, we wait and pray. G-d did not bring
us this far just to take us back again so let no one look back. Let's see this thing
through.

Copper scroll Update May 30th 2009
Shalom Everyone,
Trying to figure out how to keep you informed of what is happening at this point is difficult. Secrecy
must be maintained while still posting enough information to be considerate of those desiring to know. In order to be considerate
of both, here is what I have decided to tell you being somewhat redundant for the sake of those who have not heard our current plan.
Because of the damage done to our home by the storms and massive amounts of rain, Laurie and I have been working non stop between
the showers attempting to get out roof replaced. The roof is now complete but the other repairs will be dominating our time for
the next couple of weeks.
The Copper Scroll Project is now in a holding pattern until
the art work and recordings are done for the disclosure video.
Shawn and Casey are both working on the video and graphics for the video which will be sent out to select individuals in
the Israeli Government and religious leaders. The entire world is in such a dangerous position; everything from the economy
to global heath issues with looming threats of pandemics, that it is hard to imagine what would happen if a discovery of the
magnitude described by the Copper Scroll would do to the scenario. But we are going to cautiously push forward.
The disclosure video will detail the locations of the first
five and last five locations described on the Copper Scroll with select locations
between to add to the validity of the research. We will then take the DVD and send it by the most secure
registered mail we can afford to the individuals we have selected. The video will establish our credibility, sincerity and
our plan to attempt to retrieve the items of the Copper Scroll.
Because of the large number of locations indicated, selecting the ones to test first was of some concern. But now the
archeologist has at least "laid claim" to the most important of all. If we have actually located the buried cave, that
site is now under his control and he has priority for digging at that location preventing others from digging without the
involvement of the proper authorities. We can the return to the site and finish excavating to the proper depth to expose
that cave opening. With that in mind, we can go to those in authority with the credibility that we have established
and disclose our plan.
I am scheduled to do a program with the Travel Channel and have plans with the
Discovery Channel. In those programs I will
give a significant but controlled amount of information intended to stir support for the Israeli's that wish to do a very
thorough and well controlled excavation of selected sites to prove or disprove the findings of the Copper Scroll.
As you may recognize, I am selecting my words carefully. There is a very narrow window to enter, it is like playing the old
electronic game "Operation" where you take wired tweezers and try to remove items from a tiny opening in the body of the board
game, one wrong move and lights flash, alarm sounds and the operation fails. Failure is not an option.

Copper Scroll Update May 12th, 2009
Shalom Everyone,
We are at a standstill. Due to an illness the archeologist was unable to proceed with his plans. In addition, our flight return
dates, other flight restrictions and damage done to my home by storms in Oklahoma have created a situation where a return to the US
was unavoidable. Attempts to contact Yuval (no fault of his) were unsuccessful and decisions to spend more funding to stay or save
the funds for a more definitively structured excavation had to be made. The decision was to return home.
Giving up without an answer is not an option. Had we determined that there was nothing at the tested locations by going to the
required depth…then I could have reported to all of you, that there was nothing there. However, that determination cannot be made
for obvious reasons. We have an alternate plan that has been in place since we started planning for all scenarios two years ago.
Contact with upper levels of the Israeli government is what we have in mind and our only option at this point. None of us wanted
to go this route but we now feel that there is no other choice. An “under the radar” approach was the original plan, trying to keep
the possibilities of a discovery as quiet as possible for the safety of the team and most of all, the safety of the artifacts was the
preferred method but it had only limited success. Our goal
is not to put pressure on the IAA, our goal is to gain support from the upper
echelons of the Israeli Government to assist the IAA in a more a detailed and complete test of the sites to make a final determination
of whether or not the items of the Copper Scroll still remain in place.
To all of you that have been so encouraging and reminding me of the almost phenomenal success we have had to this point, “thank
you.”
Each letter inspires me and motivates me to continue to think of new ways to continue on. Here is what we have in mind. When a
disclosure is made to prove the reliability of the Copper Scroll Project research, five locations at the beginning and five at the
end of the Copper Scroll are revealed to prove that with my research the scroll is now understandable. We are in the process of putting
together a DVD that will contain that disclosure in detail with additional graphics and photos from each location. Once
the video is complete it will be sent to only select individuals in power in
Israel. The evidence of the disclosure has never failed to gain ample
interest and generate the support needed to move to the next level. However, that means we are putting our cards on the table and risk
losing what little control we think that we have.
My greatest concern is what will the people in power do if adequate testing is done and a find is made? These items are not meant to
bolster the national economy or to be added to the national treasury of Israel, it is a dowry meant for the time of G-d’s kingdom and
for that purpose only. But then…that is where faith in G-d comes in for all of us who believe. Do we shrink from the possibilities
or gather our five smooth stones.
All of the details of how we are going to do this will not be revealed to you. In-fact, this is all you will get. Progress will be
reported on but that is all in order to protect our simple plan. If
you know people in power in Israel that might be of assistance, send me their
NAME, GOVERNMENT POSITION, ADDRESS, PHONE, and EMAIL ADDRESS. Please refrain from trying to speak for the project and
most of all, “Please do not speak negatively about the people from the Israel Antiquities Authority.” On the contrary, please only
speak positively and thankfully about them, they deserve it.
For those of you on the email update list know that that will be the most reliable source of information. All of you, please be
patient this is a difficult and complicated process...we have not given up…not even close.
G-d has his timing.

May 2nd Isreal Archaeological dig Update
Shalom all,
This operation has been like having a huge bowl of your
favorite ice cream placed in front of you and only getting one lick. The
archeologist has done his best to push this project further while still protecting the sites but we have just scratched the surface
and feel so incredibly stifled. Through it all he has followed the laws and rules of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) to the
letter and maintained his professional position with great dignity. Indeed, we have been blessed with this man. Even now, he is trying
to figure out a way to continue to test and remain within the confines of the laws of Israel, but we must all rememberhe is restricted by
his position.
For those of you that might be thinking that there is some type of maneuvering going on to do the dig at a later date without me and the
Copper Scroll team, feel confident that that is extremely unlikely. Especially with the archeologist we are working with. He
is a good man with strong ties to his country and his family. No one will ever convince me that a man like him could possibly do such a thing.
So set those thoughts to the side.
What we are up against is well deserved professional caution, and worries that pure motives may be misperceived by the academic community
as treasure hunting. Trust me, there is more here to deal with than going out to grandpa’s old home place and looking for the coffee can
full of coins rumored to have been buried in the distant past.
For those of you pleading for updates I had to wait until
the timing was right. You may have noticed the last video has not been working.
That was by design. We have made some corrections to make it a little more accurate. Concerns about proper permits had been directed at
the archeologist after viewing our website and we did not want him to have any more obstacles to deal with. The archeologist has been very
diligent in obtaining permits and following protocol to the letter, everyone must understand that.
For those that would wonder how a fire marshal had obtained permission to dig in a land so Holy, he didn’t the archeologist did.
You have not seen the research, he has. It is compelling and every person who has seen it feels the same way about it, “It
must be tested.”
With the help of God, that is why we have succeeded to this point.
Why have we only gone a fraction of the required depth? No one knows. The only thing that can be said is “Ha Shem is in control”
(God is in control). We are to speak with the archeologist tomorrow (Sunday
2 May 2009) and find out where we go from here. We have put
so much work, effort, funding and prayer into this dig we must be allowed to properly test at least the five sites as we had planned. If
not now, then soon. Many wonderful people are praying and have supported this project, it would be wrong not to follow through, but again,
God is in control not me, not the archeologist and in the end, not even the IAA.
We must go deeper and follow through to the depth indicated
on the Copper Scroll and “start” at the level that those who buried the items
started at. I am sitting here on an air mattress in the dining room where I slept last night wondering how in the world this final
important effort can be achieved without appearing to be pushy and unappreciative. It is out of my hands but I feel compelled to continue
to try because I owe it to all of you and I owe it to God not to give up. We must respect the authorities that have allowed this excavation,
they have done nothing wrong; in fact they have and are still trying to go further. So my hat is off to those in the IAA at every level that
allowed even this moderate testing. Any efforts to continue to test by us will be with the knowledge that the IAA has been more than
accommodating, but we must go deeper.
If the artifacts are found it will bring hope from the Valley
of Achor to the Nation of Israel and Israel, like every nation on this planet, is in desperate
need of hope. We can’t give up at this point, we are too close to determining
if the Copper Scroll is real or the research is correct. With great respect,
we will keep knocking on the doors of the leaders of Israel and requesting to
adequately test even if we are delayed or stopped. In my humble and respectful
opinion, not one of the three sites has been tested to a sufficient level.
Here is your update…this is where we stand. We are not being shunned nor are we being treated disrespectfully by those in authority.
Please know that. We just seem to be caught in a Catch-22.

April 21st Update! Copper Scroll Project
Shalom, Shalom!
We are digging! We went into the drainpipe that contained the odd crystal today. Yuval excavated on both sides of the pipe and had the
workers start digging at western end of the opening to maximize effectiveness. However, we have only dug a few inches into the soil.
Investigative techniques are very different from archeological
methods because I would have gone to the depth of two feet and excavated
the entire length of the shaft, about twenty three feet. That way it would have been conclusive. By doing it this way we have multiple
locations in the shaft that could easily contain the items we are looking for and we would never see them. The tiny tunnel is only two
feet wide and about two feet tall; it would not take a lot of work to clear out the two thousand four hundred years of dirt that has
accumulated so why not do it?
The older gentleman that has authority over the site is limiting us and reducing the number of workers that we will have or…putting
the workers on another dig and “maybe” allowing us to use metal detectors?
We must not give up. If anyone knows of a good metal detector that penetrates to the depth of 10 feet for large amounts of metal
and…can be rented or purchased here in Israel, let me know ASAP! We still have access and Yuval is pulling hard for us but his boss
is putting pressure on him and we just got started??? Pray everyone, that they will let us do a complete evaluation of at least the
tunnel. The next best thing will be for us to do bore holes and drop a metal detector into the openings to test each of the sites.
That would be much less invasive and still produce an acceptable test.
We are here, we are digging and we are praying that the powers that be not stop Yuval from seeing this through. He knows that a
complete evaluation must be done to prove or disprove the validity of the Copper Scroll. Yuval has been fantastic and very supportive,
only God could have had such a man in place for this time and we thank God for his provision. We have had many obstacles along the way
and every single impediment has been overcome by God’s intervention, so be assured that this small bump in the road will also be set to the side.
Pray a short confident prayer, being comforted with the
knowledge that God’s will is going to be done.
